One day ago Mr. Trump has cast doubt on postal voting and he refused to commit to a smooth and peaceful transition of the power after the 3 November presidential elections declared. Mr. Trump quoted that mail-in ballots are a fraud and can not be trusted, if this happens then presidential elections would end up before the Supreme Court.

On Thursday, another Republican leader, Mitch McConnell, promised that no matter who will win November 3 presidential elections there will be a peaceful transition of the power.

Mr. McConnell tweeted on Thursday, “The winner of the November 3 election will be orderly and peacefully inaugurated on January 20 just as there have been every four years since 1972”.

Unusually many more Americans will cast their votes through postal voting due to the Covid-19 crisis, and Mr. Trump has questioned the security of the mail-in ballot system.

Another Republican lawmaker, Senator Lindsey Graham, has similarly promised a safe and fair election. "I can assure you it will be peaceful," Mr. Graham told Fox News but suggested a decision could go to the nation's top court. "If Republicans lose we will accept the result. If the Supreme Court rules in favor of Joe Biden, I will accept that result”.
